We hold the gold edged cards in stock, we have them in a variety of sizes and also different coloured boards. Our standard sizes are A6, 7″ x 5″ and A5. We find these sizes give a good choice for invitations, but if you required a different size, we can make to measure.
The coloured boards we hold in gold gilt edged cards are in high quality 400gsm boards, in white, in an off white (but not in 7″ x 5″) and also a cream. But as above, if you required a particular colour or weight, we can always produce to your specifications.
We can produce extra thick gold gilt edged cards, this is achieved by duplexing 2 or 3 boards together to make a real heavy weight card.
We have a few printing options for you also, we can print the gold edge cards by using flat litho print, raised thermo print and also foil printing. The raised thermo print gives a lovely raised & slight gloss finish to the print, and the foil print looks great on gold gilt edged cards as the metallic finish of the print matches that of the gilt edge.

- Flat digital printing – Flat printing full colour for excellent picture quality.
- Raised thermographic printing – A raised printing process, which allows the text & images to stand out from the page with an embossed printed finish.
- Foil blocked printing – Printing process that can have either metallic or matt finishes using metal dyes.
- Gilt Edging – A gold or silver edge hand crafted to the board.
