Description
Our gold printed invitations are produced using the hot foil blocking printing process. This style of printing takes us back to our roots, of producing by hand. Metal die’s are made for the invitation design and wording, the die is then placed into the foiling machine along with a large roll of gold foil, and with the combination of heat and pressure the design is stamped onto the invitation board.
Your gold printed invitations can be in any size you wish and can be produced on any colour and thickness of board. We hold in stock a range of boards in weights up to 400gsm, but the beauty of foil printing means we are not restricted with a maximum weight of board.
We also produce gilt edged cards, so having your gold foiled invitations printed on gold gilt edged cards gives for a striking finished product.

Printing processes available:
- Flat lithographic printing – Flat printing using metal plates, in up to any 4 spot colours.
- Flat digital printing – Flat printing full colour for excellent picture quality.
- Raised thermographic printing – A raised printing process, which allows the text & images to stand out from the page with an embossed printed finish.
- Foil blocked printing – Printing process that can have either metallic or matt finishes using metal dyes.
- Gilt Edging – A gold or silver edge hand crafted to the board.
