As we produce more and more wedding invitations, we are noticing a huge trend in having the wedding stationery foil printed. Gold and silver always seem popular colours when it comes to weddings, so the foil printing works exceptionally well.
Foil printing really does make a wedding invitation come to life, with it’s stunning metallic finish, that adds a bit of (dare I say it!) bling to your wedding stationery.
The most popular colours do seem to be gold and silver, but there are lots of other foil colours available which can match your colour theme of your wedding if required.
Most designs are possible with foil printing, even an intricate pattern, or thin swirly lines. A metal die is made of the design and this along with a roll of foil are placed into the foiling machine which is then processed by heat and hand to be transferred onto the board material.
We also produce gilt edged cards, so with foil printing on our matching gold or silver gilt edged cards, this really does finish off a classy wedding invitation.
