Gold Foil Wedding Invitations

Gold foil blocked wedding invitations look truly stunning, the metallic finish to the gold foil print really does stand out. Finish these off with gold gilt edges to your invitations, and you will have something very special to send to your family and friends.

Description

Unlike large scale printing machines, a foil block press is used by hand. Firstly a metal dye is made with your design, this dye is inserted into the foiling press, a large roll of gold foil is also added to the press then along with heat and pressure the design is stamped onto the board, leaving a slightly indented but smooth finish to the print.

Even though the printing is produced using metal dye’s, your design can be as intricate as you would like.

Our stock boards of white & cream 400gsm work very well with the foil block printing, however alternative board colour’s and weights are available upon request. We can produce in all standard sizes of invitations, A5, 7″ x 5″ and A6, but if you require a different size, this is possible to produce also.

We find very popular with gold foil wedding invitations that they are produced on our gold gilt edged cards, the gold foil of the print matches perfectly with the gold foil of the gilt edged board. As standard these come in A5, 7 x 5″ & A6 in 400gsm weight, but as we make to measure, our gilt edged cards can be in alternative sizes and weights.
