Description
Hot foil printing is a specialsied printing process, it all starts with your own design, this is transferred to an artwork metal plate or dye which is then fixed in place to the foiling machine. With the combination of heat and pressure the design is stamped onto the material leaving a smooth and slightly indented finish. Metallic finishes are very popular, but other finishes are available such as matte and high gloss.
Our stock boards of white & cream 400gsm work really well with foil printing, but heavier boards can also be used, like the Colorplan 540gsm boards as they come in lots of colours.
Another element that we offer is to add a silver gilt edge to your silver foil printed wedding invitations, they compliment each other perfectly for that wow factor! We make to measure with our gilt edged cards, so any size is available.
